Hi.
Welcome back to Eourcrest Podcast.
I'm Jisoo.
And I'm Crystal.
So we're recording this episode on May 1, and that's actually just twelve days away from a big vacation that Crystal and I, as well as our friends James and Aubie have planned for for the last two weeks of May.
The four of us are intending to go to Spain and Portugal for about two weeks.
And funny enough, it's kind of a delayed Covid vacation because we were supposed to do this in 2020, but we're finally making it happen two years later.
And I feel like with such a big trip, there's a lot of excitement and preparation that happens.
Way back in episode 107, we kind of talked about how we plan for, like, the trip itself and activities on the trip, but we thought it would be fun to kind of talk about the excitement leading up to the trip and, like, how we prepare for it, including things like mental prep, packing, and even physical prep, if there is any of that.
What do you think, Jisoo, is one of your biggest things that you do to prep for an international trip?
I think there's a couple things I do.
So one is, of course, primarily the packing.
I put a big emphasis on trying to pack the right amount of stuff because I think in the past, I've done a lot of trips where I'll pack a lot, and I'm like, oh, I know this outfit will look good in this location or this setting, and then I just end up not wearing, like, five of the ten outfits that I packed.
So it's a delicate balance for sure.
But I think with the excitement of packing and knowing that I'll probably take a lot of pictures overseas, I tend to go shopping before my trips to kind of get new clothes, new outfits, new accessories that I can wear wherever I go on vacation.
But I don't know, that might be, like, a me thing.
Cause I do tend to be a shopaholic sometimes.
But do you ever find yourself hitting up the mall or doing some online shopping before trips?
I do, but it's very situational, I think.
So I usually think of what I'm missing in terms of things that might make packing or the trip easier.
