  • Hi, welcome back to eat your crust podcast.

  • I'm Crystal.

  • And I'm Jisoo.

  • So this week we actually wanted to talk a little bit about a day in the life of ourselves.

  • I feel like we actually haven't really shared much about how we function in our day to day lives as much as we thought we did.

  • I think also because we probably haven't really painted a picture of what it's like when we're working, which takes up pretty much most of our weekdays.

  • So we thought it would be fun to kind of just talk through it and friendly reminder, I guess I'm a graphic designer, so this would be like a day in the life of Crystal's life as a graphic designer.

  • And I'm a demand planner, so you'll kind of see what that actually means in terms of workload and daily lifestyle.

  • I guess I'll start us off.

  • I'm thinking this would be probably a typical, just random weekday.

  • I personally usually get up around ten ish, ten or eleven, depending on how tired I am.

  • Most of my team is on the west coast, so luckily that makes waking up later slightly more acceptable.

  • But for the most part, I guess I try to wake up closer to ten than like eleven or twelve and then hop on my computer and see how many meetings I have in a day.

  • So usually I don't have too many meetings.

  • I think it's like the nature of my job.

  • In particular, I don't usually need too many meetings.

  • Usually if there are meetings, it's either a team meeting, a quick check in, or like a one off meeting to discuss a project with someone who I'm collaborating with.

  • So I would say like at most maybe three meetings in a day.

  • And then other than that, the rest of the time during my working hours is just spent kind of brainstorming, working through my tasks, or sometimes even just looking to see if there are projects that I think would be helpful for the team.

  • Nothing too complicated with my work itself.
