Hi.
Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.
I'm Crystal.
I'm Jisoo.
And I'm Helen.
This week, I have a new Gen Z word of the week.
For us, it is the word ik, and I guess it's been around for a little bit, so I guess I'm not super sure if it's completely Gen Z, but I think the first time I ever heard it was from people who are up to date with Gen z Lingo or just straight up Gen z people.
So I'm just gonna label it as Gen Z slang.
Yeah, I mean, back in our time, back in the old days, it was more of a red flag, and I feel like ick is kind of.
According to urban dictionary, it's supposed.
Supposed to mean instant turn off.
So I guess it's, like, slightly less bad than a red flag, but still implies that you get a certain negative signal from it.
I feel like it's a very quick thing.
If you see someone and you're like, oh, that person's kind of cute, but then they do one thing, and you're like, okay, that's an ick.
And then it's just over from there.
Right, right.
But it's not quite, like, a deal breaker.
Right.
It's just like, an accumulation of things.
I don't know.
