单集简介 ...

Our friend Helen joins us today to talk about our personal icks & how we would react in sticky dating situations. We debate over whether we'd be OK if our hypothetical boos are too nice or follow a lot of IG models. We muse on whether we'd date a trendy guy, an Android guy, or a socks-with-sandals guy.Support the Show.Follow us on social media @eatyourcrustpod

  • Hi.

  • Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.

  • I'm Crystal.

  • I'm Jisoo.

  • And I'm Helen.

  • This week, I have a new Gen Z word of the week.

  • For us, it is the word ik, and I guess it's been around for a little bit, so I guess I'm not super sure if it's completely Gen Z, but I think the first time I ever heard it was from people who are up to date with Gen z Lingo or just straight up Gen z people.

  • So I'm just gonna label it as Gen Z slang.

  • Yeah, I mean, back in our time, back in the old days, it was more of a red flag, and I feel like ick is kind of.

  • According to urban dictionary, it's supposed.

  • Supposed to mean instant turn off.

  • So I guess it's, like, slightly less bad than a red flag, but still implies that you get a certain negative signal from it.

  • I feel like it's a very quick thing.

  • If you see someone and you're like, oh, that person's kind of cute, but then they do one thing, and you're like, okay, that's an ick.

  • And then it's just over from there.

  • Right, right.

  • But it's not quite, like, a deal breaker.

  • Right.

  • It's just like, an accumulation of things.

  • I don't know.
