Hi.
Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.
I'm Crystal.
And I'm Jisoo.
I have a quick gen Z word today.
I'm actually not sure if it's Gen Z or not, but it is slang that is used today.
Not super commonly, but like, many maybe commonly.
Okay.
The word is shmedium.
I'm trying to think if I've heard this one.
Can you explain what it means?
So, schmedium basically is like a mix of small and medium.
So I've heard it used in a sports context.
For example, an NBA player who is maybe a little smaller than the average player.
So maybe they're a little shorter.
And by shorter just means, like six one or six two.
So usually, like, point guards or something, you know, they're a little shorter, maybe a little thinner than, like, some of the other players.
They'll wear what's called shmedium to look tight on their body so that they look bigger, essentially.
Oh, yeah.
I think after you explain the word, I feel like I've also heard it before, but I think I've only seen it spelled out as text, and it's.
