  • Hi.

  • Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.

  • I'm Crystal.

  • I'm Jisoo.

  • And I'm Chelsea.

  • Today we have on Chelsea, who's a dear friend of mine, and she's also been on the podcast before.

  • Episode number 115, spending for happiness and health.

  • Chelsea is the perfect guest for today's episode because we wanted to talk about what weddings look like outside of the US.

  • Chelsea has been to weddings in Malaysia as well as Guatemala as well as weddings in the US.

  • So it'll be really interesting to hear the differences that she's noticed as well as, you know, the cool aspects of all of the weddings that she's been to.

  • But before we get into the topic today, Crystal, what is our Gen Z word of the week?

  • Okay, so I have, like, a pair.

  • They're not really.

  • Well, I'm not sure if it's, like, completely Gen Z, but it is, like, new slang, and it kind of is related to weddings in a far fetched way.

  • So the first word or phrase of the pair is main character energy.

  • Ooh.

  • It's related to weddings because if it's, like, your wedding day, then you probably have main character energy that day.

  • So what this word means, it's kind of hard to describe, but it's kind of just like you're doing everything in a way that makes everyone's attention go to you.

  • So, like, in games, in stories or books or anything like that, everyone's attention is always on them.

  • So when you give off main character energy in your day to day life, that just means that you're doing things that make people focus on you and commend you, I guess.
