Hi.
Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.
I'm Crystal.
I'm Jisoo.
And I'm Andy.
So this week, we have my friend Andy on.
And before we get to the topic, we, of course, have to discuss our Gen Z word of the week.
This week, I've prepared a word that I think is pretty commonplace.
Now, I think most people will have seen or heard of it.
And there's no root word because the root word is itself.
So the word is slay.
I have two funny stories about Slay, so first, I'll explain the definition.
So, Slay is supposed to mean kind of like, oh, you killed it.
As in, like, you did great.
And I guess the real definition is like, you killed it, but you killed something, right?
Recently, Jisoo and I went on a girls trip with some of our other girlfriends, and we started kind of ironically using slay, except we were using it more so the literal definition than the Gen Z definition.
So we were like, that slayed me.
That killed me, you know?
And then I think we got called out.
At the end of the trip, one of the girls posted something on instagram.
