  • Hi.

  • Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.

  • I'm Jisoo.

  • I'm Crystal.

  • And I'm Deepak.

  • Alright, as usual, before we dive into our topic of the day, we have a Gen z word to discuss.

  • And as usual, again, not quite one word, but it's more of a phrase.

  • This one is actually kind of closer to one word, but it's basically sending me.

  • Past tense, sent me.

  • I'm trying to think if I've seen it used in real life, but I think for the most part I see online, it's usually also followed by a skull emoji, the meaning of it, as far as I can gather.

  • And my theory for it is that sending me is just like, that was, like, so funny.

  • It's sending me or whatever.

  • And my theory is that, you know how, like, before, when things were funny, we would be like, oh, my God, that's so funny, like, I'm dying or like dead or whatever.

  • So sending me is just like you're sending me to death with how funny this is.

  • Yeah.

  • I was like, yeah, like sent to the afterlife.

  • Yeah, I like this one.

  • This is actually something that I can use in daily life, I think, because it fits nicely into a sentence.

  • In our previous Gen Z words, we talked about how Gen Z slang transcends grammar, but this one actually runs into grammar a little bit.

  • That's true.
