  • Hi.

  • Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.

  • I'm Jisoo.

  • And I'm Crystal.

  • So our topic today is quite topical because we do have some pretty major east asian holidays coming up.

  • But before we jump into all of that, I did have a funny story to share that happened to me kind of recently.

  • A couple weeks ago, James and I had some free time this one day, so we were like, oh, let's go and hit a quick nine hole.

  • Since we've been getting a little bit more into golf lately, we finished our nine hole, and I guess even the nine hole was kind of funny.

  • So we basically went at, like 05:30 p.m.

  • ish on a weeknight.

  • When we pulled up, we noticed that there were way more people than usual because this is like, our local neighborhood golf course, and it's kind of like a country club, I guess.

  • But if you know the course, it's like a kind of, like, poorly maintained, not very nice course.

  • So usually there's not a ton of people there, which is, like, one of the main pulls of this course, I would say.

  • But that day, there were so many people, all the holes in front of us were, like, backed up, sort of, and then all the ones behind us were backed up.

  • And I have just never seen that there.

  • Usually it's like, us and maybe, like, max, two other parties on the entire golf course.

  • So we were like, interesting.

  • And then we went to play, and the people behind us kept pushing into us.

  • So, like, usually there's some sort of pace where, like, while you're on the green, maybe they pull up to the tee and they wait a couple minutes or whatnot.

  • But this time it was like, it felt like as soon as we were teeing off, they were, like, walking up to the t almost, oh, my God.
