Hi.
Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.
I'm Jisoo.
I'm Crystal.
And I'm Kate.
So you may recognize Kate's voice because she is a returning guest and a good friend of ours.
The last time she was on the podcast with us, it was episode number 111, high school sweethearts, where she talked about her long term relationship with her high school sweetheart.
But we brought Kate on to talk through the topic of meeting new people today.
But before we jump into the whole world of meeting new people, Crystal, what is our Gen z word slash phrase of the day?
So, today is Gen z word, I hope.
It's, like, a relatively self explanatory one.
The word is valid, of course.
I think we all are relatively familiar with what valid means in itself.
It's kind of like reassurance that whatever someone said is, like, true or has reason behind it.
It's interesting because Gen Z has taken this word and turned it into slang, and it's kind of used, like, almost interchangeably with facts or, like, true.
You just say valid instead.
And I kind of like it because I feel like it's almost more reassuring than just facts or, like, true.
Right?
You're like, oh, that's valid.
You're like, oh, my God, you're right.
