单集简介 ...

Today our friends Jane & Cindy join us to talk about situationships! We attempt to define the term & try to decode what makes a ‘situationship’ different from a ‘fling’ or casual dating. We discuss the pros & cons of situationships and chat about boundary-setting for both ourselves and our partners. We chat about lessons we’ve learned from our personal experiences!Support the Show.Follow us on social media @eatyourcrustpod

  • Hi.

  • Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.

  • I'm Jisoo.

  • I'm Crystal.

  • I'm Jean.

  • And I'm Cindy.

  • All right, we have an interesting Gen Z word today.

  • The word is kind of originating from gaming, actually, but I have noticed recently that it's being used more in, like, TikTok or just outside of gaming Twitch community.

  • But I've also noticed that, like, maybe a lot of young kids are on Twitch and or, like, watching streams lately, because I think a lot of these newer slang words are coming from streams and just like, the interesting meme culture of Twitch.

  • So the word that we're gonna discuss today is bot.

  • Like robot bot.

  • Like b o t?

  • Yes, b o t.

  • This word is used to describe someone as dumb.

  • Basically, it's almost like calling someone an NPC, because in a lot of games, they kind of put you through simple tutorial game where you play against literal AI bots.

  • So this is kind of where the word originates from, because these AI bots are not meant to be very good.

  • So sometimes people just call each other bots.

  • Oh, you're so bad.

  • You're playing like a bot would.

  • I remember when I was first learning to play league in high school, there were definitely those AI bots that are built into the game, but I think there's also people who bought their normal accounts or something like that.
