Leave an Amazon Rating or Review for my New York Times Bestselling book, Make Money Easy! Check out the full episode: https://greatness.lnk.to/1950DM Lewis was a grown man sleeping on his sister's couch. No job. No degree. No skills he could name. The 2008 economy was cratering and he was convinced he'd be broke forever. Here's what changed everything. He realized money wasn't the problem. His beliefs were. Guilt about spending. Fear of wanting more. The idea that money is only earned through sacrifice and suffering. Lewis walks through the exact conditioning that kept him stuck, and how he learned a new language around money one uncomfortable lesson at a time. If you're staring down debt, rising prices, or a shaky job market right now, this one is for you. Beliefs can be changed. He's proof. • Hi, my name is Lewis Howes and welcome to the Daily Motivation Show.

  • Your relationship with money must change before your bank account can change.

  • Or if your bank account changes, your relationship will still be hurt.

  • So ask yourself right now, do I believe money is hard to make?

  • Do I believe I have to sacrifice everything in my life and give up my family and my health to earn it?

  • Do I feel guilty when I spend money,

  • when I spend it on myself or for an adventure that I want to go on?

  • Do I feel like wanting more money makes me a bad person?

  • If you answered yes to any of those, you don't have a money problem.

  • You have a belief problem.

  • And this does not mean you are a bad person if you think this way.

  • This just means you've been conditioned.

  • You've been put in an environment and you've been...

  • Thrown into a belief system already from peers or parents

  • or your society or your culture that has put you in this situation.

  • And this is why you have come to this video.

  • This is why you've come to this episode.

  • And I hope this is that turning point for you when you come back to this episode,

  • where you share this with your friends and say, hey, let's talk about this together.
