Hi there, welcome back to Radiohead Space.
It's Dora.
I want to start today's episode with a realization that keeps returning to me.
Every time I 've had the space to slow down,
to reflect, to heal, I'm reminded that this is not something that everyone gets access to.
I remember the first time I started therapy and thinking, I wish my parents could experience this.
I wish they had the language for their inner world.
I wish they had space to pause and unpack their lives.
And then I caught myself.
They were living in a different time, with different pressures, with very different access to resources.
Healing was not the priority.
Survival was.
And that moment stayed with me because it made something very clear.
Self-discovery is not just personal.
It's contextual.
And it's deeply shaped by the world that we live in.
We often think of healing as an individual choice.
Something you decide to do once you're ready.
Something that comes down to motivation or effort.
Healing asks very practical questions.
