Senator Darlene Graham has won the Republican nomination for U.S.
Senate in South Carolina.
The political newcomer defeated Congressman Ralph Norman
in yesterday's runoff election after winning President Trump's endorsement.

Graham was appointed to the Senate seat after the death of her brother, Senator Lindsey Graham, last month.
She'll take on Democrat Annie Andrews in November.
In Oklahoma, another Trump-backed candidate won the Republican runoff in the race for governor on Tuesday.
Former state Senator Mike Mazie will face Democrat Cindy Munson and three independent candidates in the fall.
CIA Director John Radcliffe was in Moscow for unannounced talks with Russian officials on Monday.
NPR's Charles Maines reports.
In brief comments to The Washington Post,
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Radcliffe's trip to Russia involved contacts between security services.
Later telling Russian state media that President Vladimir Putin did not meet with the CIA director.
The press was tipped off to Radcliffe's arrival after flight radar trackers showed a U.S.
Military transport plane that arrived at Moscow's Nukova airport Tuesday morning.
The aircraft departed Moscow later that afternoon.
Media speculation has since swirled, with reports suggesting Radcliffe had come to deliver
a message on anything from Russia's war in Ukraine to the U.S.
