Chinese President Xi Jinping has called for efforts to further advance
the China-Belarus ties to a higher level to benefit both peoples.
He made the remarks while meeting with his Belarusian counterpart, Alexander Lukashenko, in Beijing.
President Xi said China and Belarus are true friends pursuing common development
and prosperity and reaffirm their all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership.
He hailed recent progress in ties, saying their relations have entered the best period in history.
President Lukashenko said he looks forward to strengthening strategic communication with China,
expanding areas of cooperation, and advancing bilateral relations to new heights.
