When people have difficulty with this sound, it's often because they don't complete the full sound.
Let me show you what I'm talking about.
In English, all of our long vowel sounds end with what we might call a glide sound,
which is basically either a Y or W sound.
Listen closely as I say the long A sound.
Notice that I don't say A, I say A. Do you hear the Y sound on the end?
My mouth ends in the Y sound position.
Now let's look at the long ee sound.
Notice that I don't say ee, I say ee.
Do you hear the y sound on the end?
It's like there's two sounds.
