  • Hi, Steve.

  • Today we are going to talk about body weight and romance.

  • We were getting tons of letters from letter writers who were, like most of us, in a state of confusion, shame, anguish, conflict about their own bodies and how profoundly that impacts our effort to love and be loved with partners who also have their own set of complex, fraught feelings about their bodies.

  • Yeah, and we're going to talk today about what what do you do when your partner has a body that causes you some trouble?

  • You either feel concerned from a health standpoint or turned off from a sexual desire or physical attraction standpoint.

  • When you feel bewildered about what to do, how to address this?

  • It's such a complicated thing.

  • Nonetheless, I know its a sensitive subject to her.
