  • Welcome to a to Z English quick tips today I've got something a little bit special for you and a little bit different because I was thinking about how to answer questions.

  • This is something that a lot of students have problems with.

  • And so many language tests, the ielts, toeic, all of these tests, they have this kind of question.

  • It's a short opinion question.

  • And opinion questions, as everybody out there knows, are really easy and really hard at the same time.

  • And the reason opinion questions are easy is because everyone listening, all of you out there, you have an opinion on everything.

  • If I ask you what your favorite food is or what you think about this movie, you have an opinion.

  • The hard part about doing this on a test is keeping your opinion short, simple and organized.

  • That's really the tough part about doing these opinion questions, because on a test, on the TOEIC test, they give you 1 minute and you have to answer.

  • So how can you tell me your favorite food or your favorite movie or whatever your opinion is in 1 minute?

  • And that's where things get really, really tricky.

  • So we're going to start something new here on A to Z English, which is we're going to start eating some cookies.

  • We've got some oreos.

  • Oreo cookies here for us.

  • And oreos, o r e o, oreos are a great way to organize your, your opinions.

  • It's not quite as sweet as the cookie, but it's, it's almost as good.

  • So let me explain how Oreo works, and then I'll give you some examples.

  • And this is something that I'm hoping all of our listeners, you can practice a couple times a week.

  • We'll give you some questions, and we will practice a couple times a week as well.

  • So you can see and understand how Oreo works.
