You're listening to the A to Z English podcast.
Welcome to the A to Z English podcast.
I'm Jack, and I'm here with Sochil.
And today we are doing an idioms a to Z episode, and we have three idioms that we would like to share with you and talk about.
And the first one is make waves.
That would be our first one.
Our second one is to go with the flow, and number three is lost at sea.
And so.
So how would you.
Do you think?
Are these all, like, um, not weather related, but kind of like ocean related?
Um, yeah.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah.
We use a lot of.
A lot of our idioms come from, like, yeah, like sailing.
And, I mean, just every.
Every aspect of life that you can think of.
But if I were to use the idiom, make waves, or even more commonly, don't make waves, what does that mean to you?
It means you wouldn't want to cause any trouble or stir anything up or be a bother or burden.
