  • And today we are doing an idioms a to Z episode, and we have three idioms that we would like to share with you and talk about.

  • And the first one is make waves.

  • That would be our first one.

  • Our second one is to go with the flow, and number three is lost at sea.

  • And so.

  • So how would you.

  • Do you think?

  • Are these all, like, um, not weather related, but kind of like ocean related?

  • Um, yeah.

  • Okay.

  • Yeah, yeah.

  • We use a lot of.

  • A lot of our idioms come from, like, yeah, like sailing.

  • And, I mean, just every.

  • Every aspect of life that you can think of.

  • But if I were to use the idiom, make waves, or even more commonly, don't make waves, what does that mean to you?

  • It means you wouldn't want to cause any trouble or stir anything up or be a bother or burden.
