单集文稿 ...

  • Welcome to the A to Z English podcast.

  • My name is Jack, and I am here with my co host, social, and we are bringing you a new type of episode.

  • This one is a quick chat episode, but the topic is near death experiences.

  • So near death experiences.

  • Both of us have experience like that.

  • And so, social, do you want to share yours first?

  • Sure.

  • I can kick us off.

  • Okay.

  • When I was a kid, my dad would always take us on these hikes.

  • I mean, okay, so we'd go to Mexico, like, every summer, and sometimes my mom would want time off from us, probably, and, like, go hang out with her friends or something.

  • So our dad would take us alone to go hiking.

  • And, gosh, it was always bad because, like, I think most of the time we were with my mom, and she's definitely the responsible one, and my dad is, like, not responsible at all.

  • So he takes on these hikes that were just not age appropriate.

  • Like, they're not appropriate for, like, a seven year old or a six year old to be on these crazy hikes.

  • And one time we went with, like, the whole friend.

  • Sorry, the whole family was friends with this other family.

  • And the two daughters were fraternal twins, and they were my same age.

  • They're, like, seven years old, and my sister is a couple years older than us, so she was, like, nine or ten.

  • So we went on this hike, and I didn't really get along that well with the twins for some odd reason.
