单集文稿 ...

  • A to z, english listeners.

  • Today we're going to be doing a quick chat episode on how Jack met his wife and their first date together.

  • So if you're interested in hearing, stay tuned.

  • And don't forget to join us on the WhatsApp group and let us know what you think and how maybe you met your significant other.

  • Okay, so let's see here.

  • Well, I met my wife the same way that a lot of people meet their, their spouses, and that was by working together.

  • And so this is a very, you know, common, I think, a common story.

  • It is.

  • It's common over here in Korea with schools, and it's common, I mean, everywhere, because where do you spend most of your time in the day?

  • At work.

  • Most of your day is at work.

  • Right.

  • And so you have your work friends, and then you have your, your, you know, close friends, and.

  • But your work friends are also people that you become close to because you just spend so much time together.

  • So we met when we were working at the same school.

  • And so I'm a teacher, and I've been a teacher at a university for almost 20 years.

  • But over 20 years ago, I was working at a small private school in Korea, and my wife got a job at the same school.

  • And so that was it.

  • You know, that's how we, how we met.

  • We just started chatting, and I think I was trying to be funny, but probably not as funny as I thought I was and, but tried to, you know, charm her and.
