Hello, a to Z english listeners.
Welcome to another podcast.
Today we're going to be doing a fun episode called Gen X Slang.
Jack teaches me about some Gen X slang, and I try to guess the meanings.
Jack, you want to kick us off?
Yes, I would like to.
So I have three expressions or three words that were very common about, I don't know, 30 or 40 years ago.
This is, I'm a generation x person, and so the first one that I want to share with you is the expression go postal.
What does it mean to go postal?
No idea.
Oh, my gosh.
I'm like, okay, I have, like, three, which isn't fair, but the first thing.
First three that go to mind are, like, one, go crazy to, like, go on a trip or, like, go global or something.
Or three, go postal, I thought would mean, like, go, like, how we use ghosting now.
Oh, ghosting.
Like ignoring somebody completely to go disappearing, to disappear.
Okay.
Okay.
What?
You're close on one of them, so it is a verb, right?
