单集文稿 ...

  • Welcome to the A to Z English podcast.

  • Today we have a special episode which we call beginner chats.

  • And in this episode, Sochil and I will have a conversation.

  • But this conversation will be a little bit slower than our normal conversations, and we will use vocabulary that is a little bit easier than our normal vocabulary.

  • And these episodes are for our beginner students out there who are just learning English.

  • So let's begin.

  • Today's question is, what did you do yesterday?

  • What did you do yesterday?

  • So, Sochill, what did you do yesterday?

  • Hmm.

  • Well, yesterday we thought the weather was going to be really bad.

  • We thought that it would snow a lot, which means that the roads would be difficult to drive on.

  • But thankfully, it didn't snow.

  • So we went to the grocery store and bought some groceries.

  • Nice.

  • What did you buy at the grocery store?

  • We bought some pastries, some bread, some vegetables, and some meat.

  • That sounds good.

  • Are you going to cook at home with some of these ingredients?

  • Yes, we're going to use ingredients to make dinner for the next few days.
