  • Welcome to the Ages in English podcast.

  • My name is Jack and I am.

  • Here with my partner, social.

  • We are the A to Z English podcast, and today we are going to.

  • Do a tips episode because we found.

  • That those are pretty popular lately.

  • And we've got actually three vocabulary words that we want to share with you.

  • And Sochul, why don't you tell us.

  • What those three words are?

  • Okay, so today we're going to be talking about the differences between really very and extremely and when you can use each.

  • So really is probably the one that, that has a duality about it.

  • So you can use it two different ways.

  • You can either use it the same way you might use very or extremely to emphasize that something is like very.

  • For example, if you use it in a sentence, she is really smart.

  • You can use it that way to emphasize a quality or some type of quality or adjective.

  • You can also use really to mean actually.

  • So if my friend says something ridiculous, and I didn't expect that they were serious later when they're like, hey, you didn't, you know, you didn't meet me at 02:00 a.m.
