So for me, I think having pebbles in my shoes all the time is better than always having wet socks because I really, really hate the feeling of having wet socks.
When you're walking around with wet socks, it just feels so uncomfortable.
And your socks are all squishy and your shoes get wet and smelly.
And it's really a terrible feeling.
