单集文稿 ...

  • Welcome to today's lesson.

  • My name is Jack, and I am here with my good friend Layla from Saudi Arabia.

  • Layla, how are you today?

  • I am doing well, Jack, what about you?

  • I'm doing pretty well too.

  • Thank you so much.

  • So I wanted to talk to you today about kind of like a bad experience that you had studying English or in the classroom.

  • And so you said that you had a couple of stories that you wanted to share.

  • Yeah.

  • So why don't you share those stories with us?

  • Okay.

  • At the beginning, I will go back, maybe I can say eight years ago, because at that time there was an institute which there where all the teachers, all native speakers from the US, from UK, and maybe from other countries, I am not sure exactly, but I know about those because one of my sisters studied at that institute at that time.

  • Because those or maybe that institute offered some free courses.

  • Also, they offered transportation.

  • As you know, here there is no public transportation, so it's hard if you don't have a car to go somewhere.

  • Anyway, at that time, my sister studied there and I liked the idea because I was so eager to learn English, especially from native speakers.

  • But I couldn't be able to go or maybe to sign up in that institute at the same time with my sister.

  • So after graduating from my university, and also I was studying in another institute about religious language, so I wouldn't be able to go at the same time with her.

  • But after I finished all my studied, I signed up there, they accepted me and I was so happy because I would be able to go there.

  • And there is will be a transportation from them also for free.
