Hi, it is the english listener.
Hey, listeners.
Welcome to a new episode of the podcast.
Today we're doing a short form episode where we talk about an idiom.
So today we're going to be doing chip off the old block.
Jack, what does that mean to you?
Okay, so a chip off the old block is actually not that much different than the last episode we did or a couple episodes ago, where the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
It's kind of similar, right?
So, yeah, yeah.
A chip off the old block is.
Means that I am like my father, essentially, or I'm like my mother.
Like, I'm very similar.
I have some kind of personality trait or something similar to my parent.
Would you agree with that?
Is that.
Does that.
Yeah, I agree with that saying, like, oh, you know, you look just like your dad, your chip off the old block.
