Welcome to the A to Z English podcast.
My name is Jack, and I'm here with my co host, Sochil.
And today we have a special episode for you.
We are talking about disappointing experiences.
So, Sochil, do you have a disappointing experience that you could share with our listeners out there?
Yeah, I think one that maybe a lot of people can relate to in a way and that I can laugh at now is when I first went to college, I was taking Mandarin Chinese, and I had taken it previously in high school for years, since I was, like, 15, I want to say.
And, you know, I got to college at 18.
I just turned 18, and I was in my first semester of mandarin Chinese there, and I got my test back a little later in the semester.
I don't think it was the first one I took.
And I got a 98%.
And Jack is laughing because it is funny.
The disappointing experience, and you got a 98% on your test.
I was bawling.
Let me tell you, I was the most unrelatable person in this class.
Everyone was annoyed, I think, with me, because why was I crying as I left the classroom?
I didn't cry in the classroom, but I was walking down the stairs, and I remember just bawling my eyes out.
Yeah.
