My name is Jack, and I am one of the hosts of this podcast.
But today I'm doing a solo episode, but it's not really a solo episode because I have three of my good friends, Layla from Saudi Arabia, may from Malaysia, and Hendrik from Indonesia, and they are helping me with today's episode, which is a true or false, very interesting, very, very interesting stories episode.
So I've got some really incredible stories, and I'm going to read them, and my guests are going to tell me whether they think these stories are real or unreal, true or false, fictional or nonfiction, I guess we could say.
Okay, the first story is the unbreakable bond.
In 1980, a young elephant named Nalidi befriended a stray dog named Max in a wildlife sanctuary in South Africa.
Despite their differences, the two animals formed an inseparable bond and were often seen playing together, sharing food, and even sleeping side by side.
Their heartwarming friendship touched the hearts of many and became a symbol of unlikely companionship in the animal kingdom.
So basically, what happened is an elephant and a dog became friends and spent all their time together.
Is this a real story or a fake story?
I'm going to start with Layla first.
Layla, what do you think?
I think this story, it's a lie.
It's false, not true.
I think it's not easy to be or maybe to create a friendship between dog and elephant.
I haven't heard about that.
Maybe with other animals it could be possible, but with elephant and dog, it's the first time I heard about that.
