Welcome to the A to Z English podcast.
My name is Jack, and I am one of the co hosts of this podcast.
And today I have a guest host, May.
May, how are you today?
I'm feeling great, Jack.
Happy to be here.
All right, excellent.
And thanks a lot for joining me today.
I appreciate it.
Now, what we're going to do today is a would you rather question.
And so May and I are both going to answer the question.
But before we do that, let me read the question to May and to the audience.
And I'm going to unpack some of the vocabulary because there are some big words in this one.
So would you rather experience immense physical pain for a short duration or mild discomfort for a prolonged period?
And so, may, what does immense mean?
If we say immense physical pain, what does that mean?
Um, when it refers to pain, I think it should be like a very tough pain, a very hard pain, very high pain, I would say.
