Welcome to the A to Z English podcast.
My name is Jack, and I am one of the hosts of the podcast, and I'm here with my co host, Sochil.
And today, Sochil has a great idea, a language tips episode for us.
So, Sochil, what do you.
What were you thinking for today's episode?
I was thinking of doing a vocabulary building episode, Jack, where we talk about a word and then talk about some synonyms which mean words that mean the same thing or something similar to that word.
Yep.
I'm hoping this will help our listeners expand their vocabulary.
Yes.
So for today, I'm thinking of the word intelligent, and then the synonyms we're going to go over are smart, bright, and cunning.
Good.
Yeah.
All right, Jack, can you define intelligent?
For me, intelligence means having a, I guess, a large brain capacity, a learning capacity.
So the ability to learn very quickly, to understand concepts very quickly, the ability to recall things very quickly, so you have a really good memory.
You can remember words and things.
So someone who can do all of those things at the same time, understand concepts, put things together, make connections, understand things, remember dates and details, and put that all together, we'd say that person is very intelligent.
