Welcome to the A to Z English podcast.
My name is Jack, and I'm one of the hosts of the podcast.
And today I'm doing a solo episode, which means I'm without my co host, social today.
But do not worry, I have a wonderful lesson planned for you.
This is a continuation of my last quick tips episode, and I'm going to share with you three more phrasal verbs that use the verb live.
So, three more phrasal verbs which contain the verb live in them.
And our next one is.
Our first one, I should say, is live with.
To live with.
To live with is to tolerate or accept a difficult or unpleasant situation or person.
For example, she decided to live with her noisy neighbors rather than confront them about the noise.
So in this case, instead of knocking on the neighbor's door and saying, please be quiet, she just decided not to say anything.
And she's just going to accept it.
She's going to live with it.
And there are certain things we can live with, and there are certain things we cannot live with, right?
And so, for me, noisy neighbors don't bother me.
So in my case, it's like if my neighbors are noisy, I can still fall asleep easily.
