You're listening to the A to Z English podcast.
Welcome to the A to Z English podcast.
My name is Jack, and I am back for another episode that I like to call Dear Jack episodes.
And Dear Jack episodes are where listeners of the podcast will send in their problems.
They'll say, dear Jack, and then they'll tell the problem, and then they will use a pseudonym, a fake name.
So don't put your real name there, and I will read your problem on the air, on the podcast, and I will try to help you.
Now, I am not a mental health care professional.
I'm not a counselor.
I'm not a psychologist.
So understand that my advice is just as a normal person who has been married for 20 years, I've been an educator for more than 20 years.
I've raised a daughter who is now 15 years old, and I've lived in several different countries and have friends from all over the world.
I've got some experience.
I've lived a pretty interesting life, I think, and so I might be able to offer a little bit of assistance.
And so you can take it or leave it, that's fine.
But I'm going to do my best to speak slowly and clearly, because, after all, this is a language learning podcast.
We just use lots of different methods of practicing our English.
So even solving problems or talking about problems and giving advice is part of speaking a language.
So here.
Here's the next letter, the next message that I got from a listener called trouble in paradise.
Dear Jack, I've been married to my husband for six years, and we've always had a strong connection.
