Dear Jack, welcome to the A to Z english podcast.
My name is Jack, and I am here with two of my good friends, Layla and Hendrick.
And today we're going to do a Dear Jack episode.
But it's more like a Dear Jack, Layla, and Hendrick episode.
And unfortunately, I don't have a song for all three of us yet, but I'll work on that.
All right, let me read.
So a listener has written in with a problem, and here's the problem.
Dear Jack, I've recently taken up a new hobby that I am passionate about, and it brings me a lot of joy and fulfillment.
The issue is that some friends and family members don't seem to understand or appreciate my new hobby.
They make subtle comments or express disapproval, which leaves me feeling discouraged.
I want to pursue my passion without feeling judged or misunderstood.
How can I communicate the importance of this hobby and perhaps help others see it in a more positive light?
Gratefully.
Passionate pursuer.
So there we go.
That's the problem.
This passionate pursuer has a new hobby, but other people seem to not like it or dismiss it or make little disparaging comments about it.
And so, Layla, I'm going to let you start.
What would be your advice for passionate pursuers?
In my opinion?
