  • My name is Jack, and I am here with my co host, Sochil.

  • And today we are going to do three idioms.

  • So this is idiom academy, and our first idiom, sochil, is fit as a fiddle.

  • So if somebody says to you or, you know, about themselves, they say, I am as fit as a fiddle.

  • What does that mean, Jack?

  • Fit as a fiddle refers to someone who is healthy, as healthy as they can be.

  • They're at the pinnacle, the top of their healthiness.

  • Right.

  • Just excellent physical condition.

  • Right.

  • Usually.

  • And usually when you're talking about, like, fitness, right?

  • Like, fit is a fiddle, peak physical fitness, or, you know, can run long distances without getting tired, has muscles, looks, you know, really healthy.

  • So.

  • Yeah.

  • And what is a fiddle, by the way?

  • A fiddle is a.

  • It's like a violin.

  • It is a violin, in fact, but it was just the type of island that's more often used in country music.
