单集文稿 ...

  • Welcome to the A to Z English podcast.

  • My name is Jack, and I'm here with my co host, social.

  • And today we're doing a vocabulary spotlight episode.

  • And this is two thousand's slang, or the aughts they call it, or the zero zeros.

  • And so our first one is bling bling.

  • What is bling bling?

  • I guess bling bling is like being iced out, we would say, now, which is having bling, like, having expensive jewelry.

  • Is that right?

  • Yeah.

  • Really expensive rings and a nice car or more like jewelry.

  • I think bling is just really.

  • But not like.

  • Not like, kind of like diamond jewelry.

  • Like flashy, flashy jewelry.

  • Big diamonds, you know, really in your face kind of look at me, you know?

  • Yeah.

  • Like bright, flashy, not subtle, but it's.

  • You know, in your face.

  • Yeah, flashy.

  • Exactly.
