In the face of turmoil on the markets and defiance from Iranian hardliners,
President Trump has, for now, backed down on his threat to obliterate Iran's power plants.
He had said he would target them if the Strait of Hormuz was not reopened within 48 hours.
That deadline has now passed and the crucial waterway remains shut, but the US has not attacked.
Instead, Mr Trump says he's paused the threatened strikes because peace talks are underway.
We are now having really good discussions.
They want peace.
They've agreed they will not have a nuclear weapon, etc. Etc.
But we'll see.
