1 小时 32 分钟Welcome to the LSE events podcast by the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Get ready to hear from some of the most influential international figures in the social sciences.
Alright everyone, welcome.
A few people might still file in, that's fine.
We'll have everyone.
So welcome to the LSE for this event.
This is hosted by the Department of International Relations.
Warm welcome to everyone.
Thanks for making time in your schedule, both in the theater and online, wherever you may be.
Before we get started,
please could you make sure that your mobile phones are either switched off or in silence for the duration of this event.
Thanks for doing that.
So just for sort of a little bit about who's here and about the structure of the event.
So my name is Zinnia Graf.
I'm an assistant professor in the Department of International Relations.
My research looks at international theory and international law.
And specifically,
I study the relationship between normative universals and the legitimacy of political violence.
This evening, Dr.
Elif Khaledioglu will present her new book, fresh out, or no longer so fresh, but here.
