Joining me today is Jamie Wilson, The Guardian's Head of International News.
Jamie, we've just heard from Pete Hegseth,
the US Secretary of War, as he's rebranded the Defence Secretary position.
Now,
he's made his first statement since Israel and the US began this bombardment of Iran on Saturday.
What did we learn?
I think crucially,
we learned probably for the first time since the bomb started on Saturday morning,
exactly what the US war aims are here.
