26 分钟Cutting through an overload of information to get to the heart of the story.
This is The Point.
A cyber-Chinese New Year?
When tradition meets technology, what does the celebration look like?
You may have been impressed by the humanoid robots performing at this year and last year's Spring Festival galas.
Beyond robotics, AI, VR,
and other cutting-edge technologies are refreshing the way people experience one of the most important days on the Chinese calendar.
So welcome to part two of our two-part special series of The Point.
I'm Lixin.
Today, my guests and I I will get a first-hand experience of a VR game themed around the Great Wall,
and then sit down to explore why a cyber-Chinese New Year is quietly gaining popularity across China.
Joining me today are David Bartosz,
distinguished research fellow at Beijing Normal University at Zhuhai, Professor Li Lun,
assistant professor of economics at Peking University,
and Alex Xu, stand-up comedian and podcast producer.
First, we're going to experience the VR game that I talked about,
themed around the history of the Great Wall, a simple, deeply tied to Chinese history and culture.
Once again, before we go into the gaming room,
I'd like to thank all Space for providing the experience and the venue.
Let's go.
