  • My goal has always been to win a grand slam.

  • So like ultimately doing anything was like kind of expected

  • because we have dedicated our whole lives to this.

  • And when I started doing well, I got asked this question a lot.

  • It was like, are you surprised?

  • And I was like.

  • you know,

  • yes and no

  • because I've been doing this for 15 years so like it's not like I just woke up and decided to play tennis and

  • like it's a surprise and it's just funny how people like yes forgets or they don't know really like the sacrifice but at the same time of course I definitely feel

  • like it happened quite quickly like I feel

  • like I knew I could achieve those things but for it to happen like right away was probably a bit surprising um

  • if you know it's kind of you have to process things right and at such a young age just kind of getting thrown into that and doing well was,

  • I was definitely not processing.

  • So like years later, I'm like, okay, processing happened.

  • So I'm still processing with my therapist.

  • Definitely at 18, you're not probably ready emotionally to handle all these changes,

  • all these expectations and pressures.

  • Yeah, exactly.

  • So it's just, yeah, it's like, sometimes you don't even know what's happening to you.
