They've been deadly and devastating floods in 2025.
The death toll across Southeast Asia has edged up towards 2,000,
with the spread of diseases and poor access to medical care causing further problems.
But aside from heavy rain,
experts are also pointing out deforestation and illegal logging
for making the landslides worse in the hardest-hit country Indonesia.
So is a changing climate a factor in these recent flood events?
