Any Russell with Minnesota public radio says Omar continued with the event yesterday after the man was taken out of the venue.
The lawmaker told reporters after the confrontation that she wouldn't be intimidated.
She had been calling for the ouster of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem at the time.
The man was tackled by security and led away.
