  • We're only a quarter of the way through Donald Trump's second term,

  • so predicting what the moments we will remember of it is probably foolish.

  • And yet it does feel as

  • if what's happening right now in Minneapolis could well be one of those moments.

  • In particular, the latest killing by federal agents with Border Patrol.

  • The sound recorded on phone videos of the shooting of 37-year-old Alex Pretti,

  • an intensive care nurse from Minneapolis.

  • His family said he'd gone out onto the streets to join the protests against the huge surgeon federal immigration agents whose mission is to find,

  • arrest and deport unauthorized or illegal immigrants.

  • Those whistles you could hear in the background of the footage is to alert others to the presence of these ICE agents,

  • as they're known.

  • Almost immediately, the Trump administration tried to seize control of the narrative.
