Hello everybody, my name's Jason Buck and I'm a storyteller.
You might have heard me tell stories before on super great kids stories and today I've got another one for you.
Puss in boots.
Now, just in case you've seen Puss in Boots on the TV or in films, the story is very, very old and was written down about 300 years ago by a Frenchman called Charles Perrault.
Of course, he's not quite the same cat as he is in the films and the TVs, but this is the one from the time of stories long ago.
Once upon a time, there was a farmer who had three sons, and when the farmer eventually died, His sons inherited all of his land and everything that he owned.
The oldest son was given the farm and all the land around it.
The middle son was given the farm horse, a big strong working horse that could pull a plow or pull a cart.
But the youngest son, while he was just given the farm cat.
Now the youngest son looked at his two older brothers and thought, well, my oldest brother has got the farm, so he'll be fine.
He'll be able to work and make money and live a happy life.
And my middle brother will also be able to work.
And in fact, he can help my older brother.
And between the two of them, they will be able to earn their fortune.
