1 小时 2 分钟Welcome to Macro Musings,
where each week we pull back the curtain and take a closer look at the most important macroeconomic issues of the past,
present, and future.
I am your host, David Beckworth,
a senior research fellow with the Mercatus Center at George Mason University,
and I'm glad you decided to join us.
Our guest today is Aaron Klein.
Aaron is a senior fellow in economic studies at the Brookings Institution,
where he focuses on financial technology in regulation,
payments, macroeconomics, and infrastructure for finance and policy.
Prior to joining Brookings,
he directed the Bipartisan Policy Center's Financial Regulatory Reform Initiative,
and he has also previously worked in the U.S.
Treasury Department and a Senate Banking Committee.
Aaron is also a previous guest of the podcast, so welcome back, Aaron.
It's great to be back, David.
It's great to have you on.
And we're going to talk about a paper called Quantitative Easing and Housing Inflation Post-COVID.
That's the motivation for bringing you back over here.
But I also want to talk about previous discussions that we've had.
