单集文稿 ...

  • Hello and welcome to Forever 35, a podcast about the things we do to take care of ourselves.

  • I'm Dori Shafriir.

  • And I'm Elise Hu and we are two friends who like to talk a lot about serums.

  • And today we are talking to the author and domestic equity advocate, Laura Danger.

  • You may have seen her TikToks.

  • She kind of like got TikTok famous.

  • talking about domestic equity and we had a really interesting conversation with her about this stuff.

  • And it actually made me think about the conversation we were having at the end of our last mini-ep,

  • Elise, about co-parenting.

  • Yeah.

  • You know, where you were saying you're still the one who makes the plans.

  • Yeah, yeah.

  • You know.

  • So Laura in this interview talks a lot about how women,

  • because of the way we're socialized, we end up having to be the kinkeepers,

  • like we maintain the relationships or make the friends with the other parents who could carpool or do play dates or help take your kids.

  • And like, that isn't an equity.

  • That's an area of an equity.

  • And how can we equalize that?

  • And so anyway, I think you all are going to enjoy this conversation.
