  • He says China will accelerate the implementation of its zero-tariff policy for African countries.

  • He made the comments in Lesotho the final stop of his six-day tour of Africa,

  • which also took him to Ethiopia and Tanzania.

  • During the trip, Wang held a phone conversation with his South African counterpart, saying China,

  • together with South Africa and other global South nations are committed to upholding the UN Charter,

  • opposing hegemony and so-called law of the jungle practices,

  • and defending the legitimate rights of developing countries.

  • Wang also spoke with Somali Foreign Minister,

  • reaffirming China's support for Somalia's sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.
