There's still a lot we don't know about this case.
A man and a woman were hospitalized yesterday after being fired at by federal agents.
The Department of Homeland Security said they both had links to gangs and they had attempted to use their vehicle as a weapon.
Last night, Portland's police chief, Bob Day,
acknowledged the heightened emotion and tension in the country but said they were still trying to work out what happened.
We at this time do not know if this is an immigration-related event.
We do not know which federal agencies were involved.
As we know, there are many federal agencies serving in the city of Portland right now.
That's a complex situation with a lot of different information coming out.
Oregon's governor, Tina Kotec, criticized the continued presence of ICE in major cities.
