10 分钟I'm Dan Barry, and I'm a longtime reporter with The New York Times.
I've been here for 30 years, and I've seen a lot of things change.
I was here before there was a website.
But one thing hasn't changed at all,
and that's the mission of The New York Times, to follow the facts wherever they lead.
And if that means publishing something a government or a leader or a celebrity doesn't want to aired,
that's not our concern.
If you believe in the importance of fact-driven reporting,
You can support it by becoming a New York Times subscriber.
From The New York Times, it's the headlines.
I'm Tracy Mumford.
Today's Thursday, January 8th.
Here's what we're covering.
My name is Nicholas Bogle Burroughs and I am a reporter for The New York Times.
I am at the corner of Portland Ave and East 34th Street in Minneapolis.
It's about 1130 at night,
and there are about 100 protesters still here at the intersection where an ICE agent fatally shot Renee Good earlier today.
My colleagues are on the ground in Minneapolis, where a 37-year-old woman, Renee Nicole Good, a U.S.
citizen who lived in the city,
was killed by a federal officer who was part of the Trump administration's escalating immigration crackdown.
