Hello and welcome to Meet the Writers.
I'm Georgina Godwin.
My guest today is a writer, a guide,
a hundred teacher who divides his life between Dorset and Andalusia.
I probably pronounced that wrong and I'm sure he'll tell me about it later.
He's deeply rooted in the landscapes, cultures and stories of southern Spain.
But his books take us much further into the heart of family, memory and healing.
His memoir, Brother, Do You Love Me?
became a Sunday Times bestseller,
was shortlisted for the British Book Awards and chosen as Waterstone's non-fiction book of the month.
Now he brings us Little Ruins,
a moving account of building in life and rebuilding oneself in the Andalusian Hills.
Manny Co, welcome to Meet the Writers.
Thank you very much.
It's lovely to be here.
All right.
How do you say it?
No, you pronounce it perfectly.
Am I not meant to go?
And the Lucia.
